At Dr. Teeth Dental Care in Katy, TX we are dedicated to providing the best dental treatment possible with advanced technology. With new advancements in dental technology, we can now perform safer, more comfortable and more effective dental treatments for our patients.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras allow your Katy dentist to examine your whole mouth in precise detail, allowing us to discover hidden cavities, small cracks, and even plaque. Intraoral imaging also allows us to share everything on a monitor with our patients; this can be useful when discussing dental health and any conditions.

The early discovery of hidden dental problems can mean more affordable and less invasive treatment options, making intraoral cameras a great tool for preventative dentistry.

Digital Imaging

Along with staying up-to-date on current dentistry techniques, utilizing advanced dental technology allows us to provide safer and more convenient diagnostic options. At Dr. Teeth we use digital x-rays which reduces chair time, provides high-quality photographs, and exposes our patients to significantly less radiation.

Cone Beam Computed Technology (CBCT)

In certain situations, regular digital x-rays may not produce sufficient images to create a proper treatment plan. For these situations, we are proud to offer CBCT which is capable of producing 3D images of teeth, soft tissue, bone and even nerve pathways in a single scan. This allows your Katy dentist to create a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan for you.

Laser Technology

Surgical dental procedures often result in discomfort, temporary bleeding and prolonged recovery times. For this reason, we use soft tissue lasers which allow us to perform quick and effective treatments with less discomfort and quicker recovery. Laser dentistry can be used for various treatments including root planing, dental scaling, gum reshaping and more. Because there are no incisions, stitches are not required after a laser therapy procedure, and there is typically no bleeding.
